Grenoble Street Art Festival, France 2016

The Grenoble Street Art Fest just wrapped up its second public art festival. The event showed every aspect of public art such as, huge mural painting, traditional mural, painting,­ collage, stencils, urban sculpture, land art,­ photographs, art installation, canvas painting, digital painting, videos and exhibitions and ran from 8th to 26th June!

The city­ centre of Grenoble was the hub of the festival with something going on everyday such as live paintings, unveiling of the mural paintings, exhibition launches, meetings with the artists, guided tour of the urban art in Grenoble, conferences, film projection and debate, linked with cultural mediation involved in all the places concerned by the festival.

Local and international artists were invited to take place, local artists included Etien’, The Sheepest, Petite Poissone, Nesta, Snek, Juin, Ink4rt, Srek, M4U and international acclaimed street artists : ­Ernest Pignon­-Ernest (France), Augustine Kofie (USA), Anthony Lister (Australia), Goin (France),­ C215 (France), Will Barras (UK), Beast (Italy), Nevercrew (Swiss), Animalitoland (Argentina) and Monkey Bird Crew (France).
