D*face East London Rebels Alliance Sclater Street shoreditch

Walking out of Shoreditch High Street station and turning into Sclater Street amongst the street art and street food stalls it was a treat to see D*Faces latest mural in Shoreditch titled ‘East London Rebels’, appropriately painted next to the recently opened Rebels Alliance store.

Rebels Alliance was formed online over three years ago by D*Face and two of his buddies. In December 2015 they opened the physical space in Shoreditch where Tony used to live at Shoreditch Junk. Rebels Alliance is a hub to build motorbikes, drink coffee and squeeze in some dope clothing designed by D*face.

I wondered into the Rebels Alliance enticed by the D*Face pink pop tart that was hanging on the wall!. As you walk in are greeted by some seriously cool clothing and I happily bagged myself a few Rebel Alliance T-Shirts designed by D*Face himself. There is a coffee machine, kitKats, a place to chill out and enjoy the space. There is an impressive workshop at the back of the store and Ivan, a man who knows his stuff about bikes, was busy scaling down a motorbike part to fit into the bike he was building, but he made time to invite us back and show us around his workspace.

If you’re in Shoreditch make sure you pop into the store and, like me, you might even bump into D*face and Ian Cox, who just returned from MB6 Marrakech, enjoying a coffee too … and some seriously cool custom built classic bikes parked out the front to pine over.

The alliance to restore the classic bikes is a must see!
