Street artist Hua Tunan paints UAE’s national bird, Dubai 2016

Chinese-born street artist Hua Tunan is fast becoming one of the biggest names on the international street art scenes. Hua fuses his traditional Chinese methods with Western graffiti styles, staying true to his Chinese heritage but with an urban twist.

Hua Tunan was recently invited to Dubai where he skilfully painted the national bird of UAE, the Falcon. Falconry in Arab tradition and culture is of great importance, hence the Falcon can also been seen on the UAE emblem.

The size and presence of the Falcon is outstanding and will be a greatly welcomed by all.

Check out the short video below to appreciate the scale of the project…

Hua Tunan has fused traditional Chinese methods with graffiti producing outstanding detail. The Falcon is a symbol of force and courage and now stands pride of place on the streets of Dubai.
