Hunto’s Love Letter: The Night We Lied to the World
For Valentine’s 2026, Italian street artist Hunto presents The Love Letter, a strictly limited edition where original sketchwork meets handwritten devotion. Curated across three love languages, Romantic, Sexy, and Cosmic, each piece transforms intimacy into a collectible keepsake.
“Let’s step away from the digital for a moment and return to the letter, the kind you’d find in an old film. A love letter. Something real.” Hunto says: “make it personal.“
Now, let’s step into Hunto’s love story, told through a series of hand-drawn love letters that unfold into ‘The Night We Lied to the World‘.
Love Letter – The Night We Lied to the World
The room was too bright for the hour, all champagne laughter and borrowed glamour. Men in tuxedos. Women with lipstick like secrets. A jazz band playing something slow enough to feel like temptation. I didn’t belong there. Not really. And then I saw you.
You were leaning against the bar as if you owned the night, as if the room had been built around your silhouette. When your eyes met mine, it felt like the world paused, as though even the music wanted to listen. You tilted your head, faintly amused. “Are you alone?” you asked. I was.
Before I could answer, you stepped closer, close enough that I caught the scent of your perfume, warm and dangerous. Your smile sharpened. Then you said it, like a line from a script we’d never rehearsed: Let’s pretend to be in love just for tonight.
We Pretended To Be In Love Just For That Night… Then I Caught Feelings…

I laughed, because it sounded absurd. And yet… you offered your arm as if we’d been lovers for years. I took it. That night, you danced with me like it mattered. Like it was real. Like I was someone you’d been searching for. And I played my part. I let you pull me into the centre of the floor, under the chandelier’s light. I let strangers look at us and assume a story. The kind of story people envy. The kind of story people whisper about later.
But it was only meant to last until the final song. Only meant to survive the night. Only meant to be a beautiful little fraud. Until you leaned in. And then you kissed me. Not a kiss for the room. A kiss that made the room disappear.
In the morning, the city felt quieter, like it had sobered up. Rain tapped at my window. My apartment smelled like cold coffee and last night’s perfume still clinging to my shirt collar like a calling. I tried to distract myself. I tried to forget. But my mind kept rewinding to the same moments, as if my heart had gotten stuck on a reel of film. Your hands on my waist. Your voice. That kiss that wasn’t supposed to mean anything.
I Keep Thinking About Last Night. A Lot…

Days passed. Then a week. I told myself it had been a one-night fantasy, a clever scene, nothing more. Until I saw you again. Outside a little cinema, you were there like you’d been waiting, hands in your coat pockets, eyes already smiling before your mouth did.
“You disappeared,” you said. I tried to sound careless. “It was just a game.” You stepped closer. “Was it?”The air between us tightened. Then you kissed me again, this time with the kind of softness that ruins a person. My cheeks warmed. Because how much I wanted it.
I Still Blush When You Kiss Me…

We began meeting in quiet places. Bookshops. Dim cafés. You’d bring me small gifts as if it were the most natural thing in the world. I’d pretend it didn’t make my body ache. And yet… every time you touched me, I wanted more. Not just kisses. Not just hands brushing. I wanted the kind of closeness that leaves no room for lies.
I Want You… In Ways I Probably Shouldn’t Write Down…

Renato Hunto – Love Letter I Want You … (2026)
I met someone who makes me feel reckless. But you weren’t just a thrill. You were a decision. A dangerous one, perhaps, but mine.
One evening, in the doorway of my apartment, you smiled like you knew I was lost. And I realised something that frightened me more than desire ever could. I wanted only you. Even if it ruined me. Especially if it ruined me.
You’re the Kind of Trouble I Never Want to Resist…

Renato Hunto – Love Letter … I Never Want to Resist (2026)
Love doesn’t ask permission. It just arrives. Quietly. Daily. Like sunlight sneaking through curtains. I loved you in the way you took your coffee. In the way you watched me speak, like every word mattered. In the way you stayed when you didn’t have to.
And one night, when the city was asleep and the room was lit only by streetlamps, the truth rose in my throat like a prayer. I touched your face. You looked up at me, suddenly serious. And I confessed what had been true long before I understood it.
I Loved You Long Before I Knew How to Say It.

Renato Hunto – Love Letter I Loved You Long Before (2026)
After that, we stopped pretending. We became real. Not perfect. Not always easy. But real. We fought like fire sometimes, and loved like the world might end by morning. We learned each other’s shadows. We forgave. We returned. Again. And again. And again. Because with you, love didn’t happen once. It happened endlessly.
I Fall For You Again and Again… In Every Version of Us.

Renato Hunto – Love Letter I Fall For You … (2026)
There were nights we’d stand on the balcony, wrapped you up in my coat, looking up at the sky as if it held answers. The stars felt closer then. Like witnesses. And you’d press your forehead to my chest and whisper as if you’d always known:
Our Love Feels Written Across the Stars…

Renato Hunto – Love Letter … Across The Stars (2026)
The strangest part was how you could make me feel safe and undone at the same time. You were comfort. You were chaos. You were laughter in the kitchen and hunger in the bedroom. You were the place I returned to. You were the reason I kept leaving. You were everything I didn’t know I needed.
You Feel Like Home, and Still Like Something Thrilling and New.

Renato Hunto – Love-Letter- You Feel Like Home … (2026)
And that’s how I knew. It was the kind old love films are built on. The dramatic kind. The quiet kind. The lasting kind. The kind that turns a rainy Tuesday into an unforgettable memory. Because you did that to time itself. You made life real.
You Make Ordinary Moments Feel Unforgettable.

Renato Hunto – Love Letter … Unforgettable (2026)
And still, after all the time and all the words, after the stories we’ve told ourselves and the ones we’ve lived into being, you don’t have to say a thing. You just look at me, and I’m back where it all began… the night we lied to the world.
You Still Undo Me With Just One Look.
