MURO Urban Art Festival | Bringing street art to Lisbon, Portugal 2016

Muro Urban Art Festival is on in Lisbon from April 30th until May 15th 2016. Organized by the Urban Art Gallery of Lisbon City Council in partnership with the Parish of Carnide, the festival epicentre is in the neighbourhood Padre Cruz and interventions scattered throughout the city. The city of lisbon want to celebrate their urban art culture and what better way than a festival!

Muro Urban Art Festival invites local and international artists of to paint the blank walls of Padre Cruz. There is also discussion, community and voluntary work, education,film, live concerts, street entertainment, theatre, puppetry, trial bike, paintball and street food.

Vhils , Pauline Foessel, Lara Seixo Rodrigues, Pariz One, Pedro Soares Neves, Miguel Negretti and Ana Vilar Bravo are the festival curators, and Galley Art Urbana GAU completes the core of the artists on the program.
