A square angular form that marks a decisive turn, concluding the sequence with a gesture of change and reorientation.
Blue Angle /26 forms part of a series of hand-drawn works in which Spidertag translates the visual language of his neon murals into a reduced, intimate format. Executed with acrylic markers on black paper, each drawing presents a single geometric form rendered in luminous blue, appearing to emit light from within the surface.
These works function as autonomous signals. Composed of lines, angles, and elemental shapes, they suggest fragments of a coded system or visual alphabet. Rooted in the artist’s concept of Futurism Primitivism, the series explores the relationship between primitive geometry and contemporary communication, where gesture, rhythm, and direction replace representation.
Set against a dark ground, the forms hover between presence and absence. Together, they articulate a language of light that remains open, evolving, and unresolved.
