Steve Lazarides – Inebriated Wisdom

Having worked with Banksy for 11 years, ex-Banksy agent and photographer Steve Lazarides documented Banksy’s evolution over the years becoming Banksy’s agent in the process up until early 2009.

Originally featured in Lazarides’ ‘Banksy Captured’ book (2019), this limited edition print captures a cheeky and clever parody of Rodin’s The Thinker, Banksy’s sculpture The Drinker depicts the iconic pose reimagined with a beer bottle in hand and a traffic cone perched on the head. Originally installed in a small London square, it drew inspiration from the famous equestrian statue in Glasgow where locals frequently crown the Duke of Wellington with a traffic cone.
