Steve Lazarides – Streets of Rage

Having worked with Banksy for 11 years, ex-Banksy agent and photographer Steve Lazarides documented Banksy’s evolution over the years becoming Banksy’s agent in the process up until early 2009.

Originally featured in Lazarides’ ‘Banksy Captured’ book (2019), this limited edition print captures Banksy’s Pulp Fiction mural at Old Street station—Travolta and Jackson armed with bananas instead of guns. Painted in 2002, the mural reimagines the cult film scene with absurdity and satire. It was erased by Transport for London in 2007, sparking public outcry, an updated version and a tribute work.
