Street artist Pøbel stencils a MUTE sign on Donald Trump’s WalK of Fame

Every year, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce selects around 24 celebrities to get a ‘Star’ on the ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame‘. Donald Trump was initially placed in 2007 after his popularity from his TV series the Apprentice and paid $30,000 for a place on the ‘Walk of Fame’. The Chamber of Commerce claims that half the cost goes into building the star, while the other half is used for upkeep.

Since Donald Trump decided to run for Presidency of the United States he has shown the world his personality traits and views that are considered racist, sexist and judgmental. People are so angry about his narrow minded views they have now started defacing his ‘Walk of Fame’ star in Hollywood.

The Norwegian based Street Artist Pøbel is among the many who have left their say about Donald Trump on a recent visit to the HollyWood Boulevard. Pøbel spray painted the mute symbol sign over Trumps star.

Pøbel has utilized the mute imagery before in his work ‘Mute Project’, in Japan 2014 and China 2015

…but never more appropriately than today!! if only there was a mute button on Donald Trump, he has said too much! This is how Pøbel went about it…

It’s not only Pobel who has something to say from spray-painted swastikas, the middle finger to dog poop!!
