Chichester Pride Parade 2025: A Moving Artwork of Love, Colour and Community

This weekend, Chichester came alive with colour, joy, and unity as the Pride Parade swept through the city in a dazzling celebration of LGBTQ+ identity and inclusivity. The parade route brought a burst of energy down West Street right past our gallery, on its way to the final destination at Chichester College.

It was impossible not to feel the love in the air. A vibrant mix of local groups, drums, music, and cheering filled the streets as the community turned out in full force. One of the standout moments was the sight of a rainbow Rolls Royce cruising past the gallery alongside a proudly rainbow-wrapped police car and a fire engine, symbols of support, progress, and celebration.

From feather boas to glitter, from banners to face paint, every detail of the parade reflected the spirit of Pride. Families, friends, allies, and members of the LGBTQ+ community walked, danced, and sang together, turning the city centre into a moving artwork of acceptance and unity.

GraffitiStreet stood outside, cheering as the parade passed by, swept up in the shared energy of love and inclusivity.

Events like Chichester Pride remind us of the power of art, expression, and community. They create space not only for celebration but also for visibility, connection, and change. We celebrate all those who marched and supported, thank you for reminding us what pride really looks like.
