If you were in Bath, UK, on Thursday, 3rd May, and walking past the Holburne Museum, you would have been in for a treat. The prestigious museum was taken over by the world-famous artist Mr Doodle, who created his first-ever animated doodle mural projected on the museum’s facade as part of his first-ever museum exhibition, “Mr Doodle’s Museum Mayhem.” The animation was not only fun but also educational, as there were references to the museum’s pieces throughout the show, adding an extra layer.

At 9 pm, Mr Doodle’s first-ever animated doodle mural drew a crowd. Against the dark sky, an animated ‘Mr Doodle’ doodled characters from left to right on the Museum’s front entrance, with his doodles coming to life and covering the facade.

Then everything went dark except for the eyes of the characters, and ‘Mr Doodle’ reappeared, drawing contrasting white doodles. He went on a doodle frenzy, turning the building white again, and the little black characters had fun. ‘Mr Doodle’ scaled the top of the building, spilling doodle paint as he went. A curtain dropped, and we saw ‘Mr Doodle’ hanging his artwork, followed by his paintings taking over the museum interior.

The facade became full of black doodles again, followed by the addition of colours.

The music ended, and Mr Doodle flew off in his spaceship, leaving a doodle path behind. Check out Mr Doodle’s official video for the full animation below.

The show was repeated several times during the evening, ensuring that everyone of all ages got to enjoy it. The event was a huge success, and it was a great way to showcase Mr Doodles’ talent to a wider audience and create a fun and magical experience.

Mr Doodles’ first-ever animated doodle mural on the Holburne Museum facade was an awesome experience, the animation was a perfect blend of art, education, and entertainment, and we hope to see more such events in the future.
