Spidertag’s 3D Light Murals: Floating in the Street’s Space
Since the end of 2015, Spidertag has been expanding his practice beyond the wall, creating a series of 3D murals and Temporary Structures that occupy space rather than merely marking it.
Executed both outdoor and indoor, these works are constructed using special cables and luminous lines, allowing drawings to detach from flat surfaces and float freely within the urban environment.

Walls dissolve. Architecture becomes porous. The street transforms into a spatial field.
“Ladies & Gentlemen, we are floating in the street’s space.”

Developed for festivals, cultural events, and spontaneous urban interventions, sometimes with permits, sometimes without, these structures exist in a state of tension between legality and freedom, permanence and disappearance. Their temporary nature is essential: they appear, activate space, and vanish, leaving behind a charged memory rather than a trace.

Inspired by the idea of Concetto Spaziale, Spidertag treats the city as a three-dimensional canvas. Line becomes volume. Drawing becomes architecture. The artwork is no longer confined to a surface, it floats, interrupts, and redefines public space.

These 3D murals invite viewers to step inside the work itself, between art, environment, and movement. They are not objects to observe from a distance, but spatial experiences. Moments where the street is briefly suspended, and gravity feels optional, it is Urban Concetto Spaziale.
