On view at Banksy’s landmark 2015 exhibition Dismaland: Bemusement Park, Internacional is one of Paco Pomet’s most recognisable works. The piece depicts Cookie Monster, the beloved children’s character, at the wheel of a speeding Toyota pickup truck filled with armed, cheering militia fighters. Printed in an edition of just 60 and published by Christian M. Walter Studio in Granada, each print is signed and numbered by the artist. The original painting of Internacional was exhibited at Dismaland and is rumoured to be held in Banksy’s personal collection, adding to the significance, and desirability of this edition.
