Over the years Adam Neate periodically revisits the subject matter of ‘THE HUG’. In 2011 ADAM NEATE painted a truly dynamic composition. It combined expressionistic brush strokes on canvas with moulded, and aerosol painted Perspex and metal.
In order to capture the essence of the original work, the incredibly high resolution image has been bonded between a sheet of Perspex and aluminium. The surface of the Perspex has then been expertly over screen-printed with two layers of highlights.
This edition was ready to hang with a simple aluminium sub-frame and batten.
