Banksy’s The Walled Off Hotel Gift Shop is now Open, September 2017

Banksy‘s The Walled Off Hotel just announced the opening of an exciting new gift shop. Visitors staying at the art hotel in Bethlehem will now be able to purchase souvenirs and gifts designed by Banksy as they exit through the gift shop!

The gift shop is situated towards the back of the hotel and sells items created exclusively for the Walled Off by Banksy. It should not be confused with the ‘Banksy Shop’ next door which has nothing to do with Banksy at all. All profits from sales go towards sustaining the hotel and social projects. Select items are available worldwide on mail order.

The souvenirs only available to purchase at the hotel gift shop include a Banksy art print housed in a cheap Ikea frame with an actual chiseled off piece of wall.

The Souvenir Wall Section consists of a mini stretch of separation wall decorated with recreations of well-loved graffiti. Lovingly hand painted by local craftspeople, available in small and large.

A miniature reproduction of the hotel’s iconic electronic key fobs. Made from enhanced polymer resin.

The Crucifix Grappling Hook is a tactical support device constructed from high tensile aluminium and sacred ornament.

Other items are available online available worldwide on mail order, such as mugs, T-shirts and bags …

Graffiti artist Banksy opened ‘The Walled Off Hotel’ in the Palestinian city of Bethlehem in March 2017, his first major project since Dismaland in 2015. ‘The Walled Off Hotel’ is only a few metres the West Bank barrier. Read more here.
