Crystal Ship Street Art Festival 2016, Ostend, Belgium

The Crystal Ship is a contemporary art festival specialized in public space which sets sail to the city of Ostend together with international and national artists. World-renowned artists create gigantic murals and fantastic art installations that form an artistic trail in the city. Crystal ship wants you to ‘Follow the Waves’ and is curated by Bjørn Van Poucke.

Artists this year include 1010 (DE), AGOSTINO IACURCI (IT), CYRCLE (US), DISORDERLINE (B),ELIAN (AR),ELLA &PITR (FR), EVERSIEMPRE (AR),FAITH47 (SA), FINTAN MAGEE (AU),GUIDO VAN HELTEN (AU), HERR SEELE (B), JAUNE (B), JAZ (AR), LOCATELLI (B), MISTER FIKSIT (B) ,NOIR (B) , BIANCOSHOCK (IT),ISAAC CORDAL (ES), PIXELPANCHO (IT), POL COSMO (B), ROBERT MONTGOMERY (UK), ROA (B), SIEGFRIED VYNCK (B), SMATES (B) and ZIO ZIEGLER (US)

With this epic line up the artists are going to send seismic waves throughout the city of Ostend! The murals are painted until the 10th April, which also hosts the grand opening of the festival. Take a peek at the goings on in Ostend below…
