The celebrated Spanish duo PichiAvo have once again fused antiquity with the present in a commanding new mural at Vallà (Treviso), where they reimagine Niké, the Greek goddess of victory. Towering across the wall, the figure emerges with sculptural presence, her marble-like form layered against a backdrop alive with graffiti.
Commissioned for The Wallà Project, an initiative curated by the BocaVerta Collective, the work exemplifies PichiAvo’s distinctive visual language, a seamless collision between the permanence of classical statuary and the raw immediacy of street culture. In Vallà, this interplay embeds the ideals of triumph and renewal into the very fabric of the community.

Street meets sculpture
The mural’s palette of cool violets, electric blues, and graffiti infuses Niké with a contemporary vitality. Her carved, marble-still gaze cuts through a storm of tags and handstyles, a visual tension that is central to PichiAvo’s practice. They place the serenity of antiquity against the rhythm of the street, allowing history and modernity to exist not in opposition but in dialogue.
The effect is monumental and intimate at once: a goddess reborn in spray paint, asserting her relevance in the here and now while carrying with her the weight of centuries.

About The Wallà Project
Launched in May 2021, The Wallà Project transformed provincial road 667 into an open-air art trail, inviting both nationally and internationally recognised artists to work with local residents. Its aim is not simply to beautify but to regenerate, to breathe cultural energy into overlooked corners of the region.
Through its projects, Wallà demonstrates street art as a social tool to raise awareness, spark pride, and create shared stories. PichiAvo’s Niké is a natural fit for this vision, carrying both historical resonance and urban immediacy.

Niké
Victory in Vallà is more than a mythic symbol. Here, Niké stands for civic renewal, the small wins that accumulate when communities reclaim their spaces, bringing footfall, dialogue, and cultural attention back to forgotten walls. In this sense, PichiAvo’s mural functions almost as a manifesto for The Wallà Project itself. A victory celebrated and enacted on the very surface of the city.
