HKwalls Street Art Festival, Hong Kong 2017

HKwalls returned this March for a nine-day celebration of street art and creative collaboration in the industrial district of Wong Chuk Hang. From 18th to 26th March the festival engaged the public with an incredible line-up of live mural painting, a print exhibition featuring the artists and more.

Continuing their mission to create public art spaces all over Hong Kong, HKwalls moved to the industrial district of Wong Chuk Hang. The district has undergone significant transformation in the past few years, it is now home to many notable galleries, as well as photography, design and art studios. HKwalls goal for 2017 is to take that transformation outside and bring some colour to the streets.

Thirty-eight artists painted over thirty murals, walls, shutters, trucks and entire buildings! This year’s featured artists include: Pixel Pancho, Abdul Rashade,Aspire, Amuse126, Merlot, Brain Rental, Buff Diss, Candy Bird, Debe, Dilk, Jecks, Jerik, Kris Abrigo, Mauy Cola, Megic, Messy Desk, Ralph Macchio, Rodney Stratton, SeeNaeMe, Snik, Snub, Spok, Swoon, Taka, Tuts, Wong Ting Fung, Zilan and Zoer.
