Nuart Aberdeen announces artist line up, 2019

Nuart have once again invited world renowned street artists to paint in the city of Aberdeen for this years mural Festival 18th – 21th April 2019 and have announced a stellar line up.

This year Nuart Aberdeen will add even more art to the cobbled streets of the granite city, with this year being their third edition.

Nuart have invited stencil artists Anders Gjennestadaka Strøk ,  Dotmasters and Hama WoodsThe Lego man is paying a visit, Jan Vormaan with his LEGO brick street interventions! a call for LEGO has been made so please send your LEGO his way and become part of the art!

Muralist Axel Void will be bringing his skills to the Scottish city, this will be the first time Axel has been to Scotland, expect great things! We can’t wait to see what Uk Graffiti artist Ben Eine has to say in Aberdeen as he brings his colourful typography skills to the mix.

Ememem will be doing the councils job with pothole busting and pavement fixing, bringing happiness to many locals! Evol will be transforming the electrical grey boxes into works of art, these look fabulous and are a great spot when walking around the city. UK artist artist Helen Bur will be painting in this years festival, following on from last years Nuart in Stavanger. Hush will bring to the city his fusion of traditional Eastern art with Western traditions.

We look forward to Julio Anaya Cabanding bringing his traditional landscape paintings in very untraditional settings. Last, but definitely not least two big names within the scene Smug and VHILS! Expect to be blown away!

Developed in 2017 in collaboration with Aberdeen Inspired and Aberdeen City Council, Nuart Aberdeen is an international platform for local, national and international artists to showcase their work through a series of site-specific murals, installations, interventions, and temporary exhibitions.
