Vision Art Festival, Crans-Montana Ski Resort, Switzerland 2018

The Vision Art Festival has been back for its fourth edition in the beautiful setting of the Valais Alps. With its spectacular circular view, coiled up on a mountainous plateau overlooking the Rhone valley and the Valais Alps, the renowned Swiss resort of Crans-Montana once again took urban art to a whole new level, from 17 to 26th August 2018.

Vision Art Festival, the only urban art festival in altitude and real open-air museum, attracts
artists from around the world to participate in this crazy week of creation in the mythical Crans Montana resort during the last week of August.

The artists are painting between 1500 and 3000m altitude, in a extraordinary breathtaking panorama and it all began with Gregory Pages fantastic idea of turning the grey concrete buildings into something worth seeing!

This year’s main theme was “water”, with most works related to “water” and how vital it is for all of us.

Artists invited to new heights this year were Jasm One, Serval, Ygrek, Tones One, Tom Bob, Mantra, Sylvie Fleury , Julien Nonnon and Obed Osorio.

JASM ONE painted an amazing portrait on the hotel Le Green! entitled “Shaken, Not Stirred” and is a tribute to prominent resident of Crans Montana, 007 Roger Moore, where he lived his 30 last years.

Great to see  SERVAL at the resort …

YGREK tapped a Beautiful piece at 2600m in Bellaluion on top of ASTRO’s mural.

TONES-ONE brought his graffiti style to the mountains and enjoyed the view…

Tom Bob clevery used objects around him to transform into humorous interventions at the resort . One of them “Are You Ready To Take The Leap ?” at the cable car Crans Cry d’Er and Greg the seal.

Julien Nonnon brought his magic to the festival and played an open air tribute to David Bowie.

Mantra painted his signature butterflies, after a butterfly box his father had just brought him from some flea market.

Obed Osorio paints his mural under the ski lift …

Sylvie Fleury raisied the flags on the island of lake Grenon. In collaboration with Cirque au Sommet !

Another fantastic year for Vision Art Festival! Taking art to new heights.
