Wall to Wall Street Art Festival, Benalla, Australia 2017

The Wall to Wall Festival is the largest regional street art festival in Australia and now in it’s third edition, curated by Juddy Roller with the support of the Benalla Street Art Committee, local businesses and Taubmans Paint. The artists came from all over Australia to paint at what has become one of the best destinations in Australia to view high-end contemporary street art. This year it hosted 35 internationally acclaimed artists from Australia and around the world, and attracted thousands of visitors. It’s changing the face of Benalla, and the community’s identity, one wall at a time.

Artists came from as far as France and Argentina to participate in the festival, or were hand-picked from Australia’s best. Notable artists involved this year included Odeith, Sofles and Fintan Magee, Rone, Adnate, Kitt and others.

“This was by far the most exciting Wall to Wall Festival to date. With artists converging on the small town of Benalla from all over Australia and the world, Benalla really came to life with the third installment of this event.” Shaun Hossack, Juddy Roller Founder

This year’s festival saw a one-of-a-kind exhibition of over 50 works by internationally renowned street artists Adnate and Rone in ‘Born on the street’ at the celebrated Benalla Art Gallery.

Over the last three years 58 unique and stunning murals have been painted during the yearly festival.

“It’s fantastic to see both the Creative Victoria and Festivals Australia supporting an event based around street art in such a significant way. It shows that the art form itself is really coming of age, not only through support offered by both the state and federal government, but also the extensive crowds that attend the event, coming from all over Victoria.” Shaun Hossack, Juddy Roller Founder
