Artez Brings his Nature Inspired Characters to UPEA Street Art Festival, Finland 2017

The second annual, multi-city Street Art Festival UPEA has begun in Finland. UPEA17 has invited local and international artists, such as Guido van Helten, Fintan Magee, Apolo Torres & Pat Perry, Rustam Qbic, Jani Leinonen, Andrea Wan, Artez, Dulk, Eero Lampinen, Messy Desk,  Millo, Onur,  Ricky Lee Gordon, Roberto Ciredz, Smug, Telmo Miel, Vesod, Wasp Elder and many more … to paint twenty large scale murals in thirteen different Finnish cities …

Serbian street artist Artez was invited to paint a nature inspired mural spread over three walls. His style can be characterized as a mix of photo-realism and illustration.

His new line of work is focused on characters that encourage viewers to focus their attentions back to nature.

His mural “Let’s grow” shows his characteristics watering plants and nurturing them to grow.

The surrounding green areas and the idyllic neighbourhood atmosphere provided the inspiration for his mural. Artez enjoyed how nature and the local neighbourhood all live in harmony with each other.

His lush nature inspired mural can be found at Nelikkotie 18, in the city of Espoo.
