GraffitiStreet online charity auction raises money for londons homeless, 2016

Sunday 21st August 2016 at 20:00 (GMT) saw the end of our online charity auction. The auction was a great success and saw many of you bidding to purchase one of our specially painted canvases for streets of london charity, or one of GS limited edition sold out prints.

The online GraffitiStreet Charity Auction featured and sold five unique and original pieces of artwork, painted by BisserPichi&AvoMy Dog SighsHunto & Pichi&Avo collab, Pahnl and Joachim.

Other sold artworks included in the charity auction were GraffitiStreets rare Limited edition prints JPS ‘Big Deal’ AP Blue, AP Pink and AP Green, Nils Westergard ‘Kaleidoscoped’ AP, 3F ‘XO’ AP Pink and NME ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ Silver.

The specially curated charity urban art auction started bids at £0.99 and with no reserve price! With all money going to Streets of London Homelessness Charity which funds specialist support for people who are homeless in London, and raises awareness about homelessness.

With special thanks to all the artists who contributed and all of you who made a bid on the charity auction, it is with great pleasure to inform you that the total amount of money raised for London’s homeless came to a staggering £5671.39!!!

“A fundraising event like this is amazing. Not only does it raise vital funding, that means more homeless people will receive the support they need to get off the streets and make positive, lasting changes in their lives; at a time when the number of people sleeping rough in London has more than doubled in the last five years and more than trebled over the last decade, it also brings attention to a very important cause.” Ian Fothringham, Charity Founder
Check out our interview with Ian about the hard work ‘Streets of London’ does to raise money and awareness for homelessness in London and where the money goes.

‘Thanks so much to the guys at GraffitiStreet for kindly supporting Streets of London again this year. A huge thank you to all the amazing graffiti and street artists who generously donated art-work. Our thanks and appreciation go to My Dog Sighs, Pichi&Avo, JPS, Bisser, Hunto, Joachim, Pahnl, Nils Westergard, 3F and NME.” Ian Fothringham, Charity Founder
