Memorie Urbane Street Art Festival 2015

The Memorie Urbane Street Art Festival is the largest in Italy and the festivals fourth edition promises to be the biggest street art festival so far. Memorie Urbane has seen the artistic transformation of more than 90 walls since it was founded in 2011 by Davide Rossillo, President of Turismo Creativo and a supporter of contemporary art.

This year the event features 40 artists, seven towns, three provinces and two regions. The festival aims to transform the most neglected urban areas into in an accessible open-air museum and to bring contemporary art onto the streets to previously abandoned spaces.

The seven towns involved are in the Lazio and Campania regions, and include Gaeta, Terracina, Fondi, Arce, Latina, Priverno and Caserta.

The 40 participating street artists are travelling from thirteen different countries in addition to Italy, including Lithuania, England, Poland, Spain, Norway, Portugal, Greece and Germany, as well as Brazil, Argentina, Russia, China and the United States.

The street artists involved this year include 1010, ALIAS, Ecb Hendrik Beikirch, Case Maclaim, Shaka, Kan, Levalet, Jana and J’s ,Ella and Pitr, MTODavid Walker, Btoy, Axel Void, Pablo S Herrero, Eime and Frederico Draw,Ernest Zacharevic , Natalia Rak, Pastel, Bosoletti, Elian, Strok, Alexey Luka, Daleast, Vesod, Pixel Pancho, Eduardo Tresoldi, Fra Biancoshock, Millo. Adomas Žudys / AWK , Apolo Torres, Bezt,Pichiavo, Doa, Ino, Milu Corech, Sainer and Stein just to name a few!

The exhibitions will see the talented Pichi&Avo solo show on 7th March in the Basement Project Room, Fondi.

From the 29th March – 17th May you will find the legendary Martha Cooper at the Contemporary art gallery, Gaeta.

Stencil artist Levalet will be hosting his solo show on the 30th April at Aus+Galerie, Latina and, on the 7th May Eime will host a Solo Show on Square 23 Torino.
