MURAL International Public Art Festival 2015

MURAL International Public Art Festival 2015 began this month on the sunny Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. Media representatives and members of the public are invited to enjoy the numerous activities until June 14th.

“With free access again this year to the pedestrian sites, MURAL festivities are spread over a total of eleven days rather than four and promise to exhilarate. 20 new murals will be created right before your eyes, which will bring the total count to 50 major pieces transforming the Main’s landscape and its surroundings since 2013.” André Bathalon, co-founder of festival.

The 2015 edition of MURAL International Public Art Festival will bring together world renowned visual artists from 8 countries, of which: Nychos (Austria), Curiot (Mexico), Jaz (Argentina), Faith47 (South Africa), Bicicleta Sem Freo (Brazil), Axel Void (Spain), 2Alas (United States), Elian (Argentina), and C-215 (France).

MURAL is also counting on the appearance by a number of major Montreal, Quebec and Canadian artists, of which: Xray, Earth Crusher, Monk.E, Astro, Melissa Del Pinto, MC Baldassari, Eric Clement, Benny Wilding, Jarus, Opire and 4-Tind.
