Polish street artist NeSpoon has just finished painting a mural in Brittany in the small city of Yffiniac, in the north of France.
As always, careful research went into the intricate pattern of the mural and was inspired by the beautiful delicate 19th-century ceremonial shawl.
The inspiration was a Breton ceremonial shawl from the end of the 19th century, which I discovered while visiting one of the local houses. The pattern in the style of Napoleon III is characterized by a combination of floral and geometric motifs.” NeSpoon
The finished lace artwork drapes beautifully with the existing architecture as part of the Street Art en Baie festival.
