Fuelled by an extra dose of Energy, The ‘Avant-Garde‘ festival is taking place during June in Tudela, Spain. A welcome break from the uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The mural event, curated by Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada and organized by Tudela-Cultura (concejalía de cultura del Ayuntamiento de Tudela) will take place from 8th to 14th of June 2020. Artists invited include Miss Van, Mina Hamada and Jeff McCreight ‘Ru8icon’ who will be painting in its VII edition.
Miss Van
(Toulouse, France). Location: C/ Magdalena Eguaras, 56
The festival began in 2010 and is now in its 7th edition hosting top international artists like Sixe, Mark Jenkins, Evan Roth, Ron English, El Mac, Escif, C215, Faith XVII, Vhils and Franco Fasoli being involved with the event.
Mina Hamada
(Japan). Location: C/ Juan Antonio Fernández, 22
All the interventions will be open-air, avoiding big groups of people and following the security protocols and health measures caused by the situation originated by Covid-19.
Jeff McCreight
(USA). Location: Paseo del Castillo, 9
Avant-Garde Tudela has won its place as an impossible-to-miss date in the international muralism calendar.
