Urban Artist Ador and the Family Réunion, 2018

Urban artist Ador is currently on the small French island Réunion, located in the midst of the Indian Ocean, 700 kilometers east of the island of Madagascar , and 200 kilometers South-West of Mauritius.

Réunion is a dream destination for lovers of the outdoors because of its truly varied terrain. The small island offers breathtaking mountain views, white and black sandy beaches, an active volcano, flourishing forests and majestic waterfalls… it’s all about enjoying nature and to get lost in it!

Thats exactly what street artist Ador did when he escaped to this magical island. The island has embraced street art, it is everywhere from the north to the south of the small island. Art can be found on the walls, abandoned factories, old houses… street art is everywhere!

Other street artists to fall in love with the beautifully diverse island include; Jef Aérosol, Seth Globepainter, Sept, Jace, Jérôme Mesnager, Monk, Allo, Floe, Snif, Oner, Pandakroo and murals can be found here.

Ador found many abandoned places in this cultural gem and left his much loved characters to enjoy the island.

“I enjoy painting my characters like the Wizard, the Rabbit, the Hunter and all the rest of the family in different situations.” Ador

Ador is still painting so check back at a later date for more of Ador’s characters on the beautiful island of Réunion.
