Dran is a French street artist and illustrator known for satirical works that combine dark humour, social criticism and childlike imagery. Emerging from Toulouse’s graffiti scene, he developed a distinctive visual language centred on freedom of expression, censorship and the pressures placed on creativity from an early age. His recurring children, authority figures and absurd urban situations expose contradictions within education, politics, consumer culture and public life. Working across drawings, paintings, prints and street interventions, Dran uses deceptively playful scenes to address more uncomfortable realities. His sharp observational humour has established him as a distinctive voice within contemporary French street art.
